December 10, 2009 - CIST Christmas Party

On November 30, 2009, the students and staff of CIST celebrated the holidays with our annual Christmas Party. Over 100 people turned out for this celebration, which included food, singing, dancing, draw prizes, and awards. This years prizes totalled $1000 and included a Sony PSP.

June 24, 2009 - CIST/CBU Entrance Scholarship

Cape Breton University (CBU) will be offering a $1000 scholarhip to the top gradaute from CIST who wishes to transfer to CBU to continue their studies. In order to be eligible, you must be a full-time student at CIST and must have completed at least 10 regular courses at CIST with a minimum CGPA of 3.0. The scholarship recipient will be determined by June 30th of every year starting 2010. [more info]
